Recently, the first 7.5-meter large VAN right-hand drive diesel vehicle modified by Yashang New Energy Company successfully rolled off the production line. After conducting preliminary market research, Yashang New Energy Company officially launched the development project for the 7.5-meter right-hand drive diesel model in September 2018, based on the demand of the Thai passenger transport market and the road usage environment in Thailand. The vehicle adopts a platform-based development model and implements modular design for systems such as powertrain, chassis, body, interior and exterior trim, air conditioning, and electrical systems, following the European light commercial vehicle technology route. It features a smooth appearance with a low drag coefficient, a spacious body, excellent overall road performance, and outstanding handling and cornering capabilities.

After preliminary market research, Asia Business New Energy Company officially initiated the large2018year9month project and launched the development project for the largeVAN7.5meter right-hand drive diesel model, adopting a platform-based development model for the whole vehicle, and implementing modular design for systems such as powertrain, chassis, body, interior and exterior trim, air conditioning, and electrical systems, following the European light commercial vehicle technology route. The vehicle features a smooth appearance with a low drag coefficient, a spacious body, good overall road performance, excellent handling and cornering capabilities, and comfortable seating, while meeting the technical standards of relevant regulations and certifications in Thailand.
It is reported that the first modified body was based on the principle of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, utilizing a scrapped left-hand drive test vehicle for manual modification in the largeVANwelding workshop. After the body rolled off the production line, relevant personnel from the light commercial vehicle department, electrical department, and engineering department organized a review of the modified body, and the review results met the design standards.
After the completion of the right-hand drive model product development project, it will further enrich the product variety of the largeVANplatform, filling the gap in the company's right-hand drive largeVANvehicle in the overseas market. Once the project product is successfully launched in the Thai market, it can leverage the advantages of the product to enter the tourism, passenger transport, and rental markets of other right-hand drive countries, laying a solid foundation for further expanding overseas markets.
