On January 30, Weichai (Yangzhou) Yaxing New Energy Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. held the second meeting of the first union member and employee representative conference. A total of 60 people attended the meeting, including all company leaders, employee representatives, and invited representatives, gathering together to discuss the company's development plans. The conference had five agenda items, with the first being a work report on the company's operational situation in 2018 and the key work deployment for 2019 presented by Wang Chunding, the party secretary and general manager of the company. The report summarized and reviewed the company's operational performance in 2018 and the existing issues.

The meeting was presided over by Xu Jianli, the deputy secretary of the company’s party committee, the secretary of the discipline inspection commission, and the chairman of the labor union. The conference had five agendas. First, Wang Chunding, the party secretary and general manager of the company, delivered a work report on the company's operating conditions for 2018 and the key work deployment for 2019. The report summarized and reviewed the company's operating performance in 2018 and the existing problems. At the same time, based on the current industry situation and the group's development strategy, General Manager Wang proposed three main ideas for the overall work of the company in 2019: first, to focus on enhancing product research and development capabilities; second, to focus on enhancing marketing capabilities; third, to focus on strengthening production and basic capacity construction. In 2019, the company will closely revolve around production and operation, keep pace with the times, continuously innovate and adapt, improve management assessment mechanisms, enhance cross-departmental collaboration, increase work efficiency, and gather the wisdom and strength of the majority of cadres and employees to provide strong support for achieving the goal of selling 1,000 complete vehicles.

The conference also announced the ten major events of the company in 2018; listened to and voted to approve three special contracts including the "Collective Contract" and six management systems including the "Employee Attendance Management Measures," which were signed by both the enterprise and employees, committing to jointly fulfill the relevant agreements; the meeting also recognized the advanced teams and individuals of 2018.
