The 5.9m air suspension prototype of Asia Business New Energy Company has successfully completed performance testing.
2022-07-27
In order to enhance the market competitiveness of the company's products, Yashang New Energy Company has recently developed a 5.9m rear air suspension vehicle. This model has successfully completed performance testing and will become a powerful asset for the company's RV project and specialized chassis vehicle project. A high-quality commercial vehicle must possess the comfort of a sedan while also ensuring the off-road performance of an SUV. The air suspension system is the best choice to achieve this goal. Depending on the road conditions and the signals from distance sensors, the ECU determines changes in the vehicle's height and controls the air compressor and exhaust valves, allowing the air springs to automatically compress or extend, thereby lowering or raising the ground clearance of the chassis to enhance stability at high speeds or improve performance on complex terrains. The air suspension prototype fully considers the actual usage of RVs, allowing real-time control of the RV's damping stiffness and body height, thus improving ride comfort and handling stability. When traversing bumpy roads, the heavier RV body experiences greater kinetic energy fluctuations, making it difficult for ordinary suspensions to quickly dissipate vibrations. In contrast, the electronically controlled air suspension can rapidly reduce vibrations through air bags, enhancing comfort. After six rounds of discussions, the company finalized the design of the inwardly retracting guiding arm, which not only lightens the air bag installation bracket but also increases the safety distance between the air bag and the tire. Additionally, this model can adjust three driving modes for body height via a mobile app. Currently, the prototype has completed trial production, and the results of smoothness tests on frequency, pulse roads, and various typical road conditions show that this air suspension vehicle has an unloaded frequency of 1.46Hz. This means that the unloaded frequency of this vehicle is even lower than the loaded frequency of leaf spring suspensions, significantly enhancing ride comfort. It is reported that this prototype will also be sent to Xiangyang for a 14,000 km reliability verification. This model fully showcases the product's features and highlights, laying a solid foundation for the company to occupy the high-end commercial vehicle market.
The Asia Business New Energy Company has successfully produced two new national standard electric vehicles measuring 5.9 meters.
Recently, two newly developed 5.9-meter new national standard electric vehicles from Yashang New Energy Company successfully rolled off the production line and are about to enter the certification testing phase. The Automotive Research Institute is diligently advancing according to the development plan to ensure the successful development of the 5.9-meter new national standard electric vehicle. With the increasing prominence of energy shortages and environmental pollution issues, zero-emission new energy city buses have garnered more and more attention, becoming the direction for future development in the automotive industry. In terms of domestic policy, in 2023, the national implementation of the National VI B standard policy and the "Three-Year Action Plan to Win the Blue Sky Defense War" will lead to a significant increase in vehicle purchase and operating costs, which is also a reason many units and customers are choosing zero-emission pure electric buses. To enhance the core technological strength of the enterprise, improve innovation capabilities, and reduce overall vehicle costs, the company decided to develop the 5.9m new national standard electric vehicle project based on the relevant content of the sales company's "Product Development Requirement Proposal." Upon receiving the task, the Automotive Research Institute immediately established a project team, aligning with the group's overall strategic plan to promote new energy and new technologies, and proceeded with project establishment, model selection, research and development, and trial production, striving to pass certification as soon as possible and achieve vehicle sales. Currently, the evolution of the automotive parts distribution structure from a distributed to a centralized model is a major trend in automotive technology development. In response, the Automotive Research Institute is keeping pace with market trends, selecting an integrated motor drive axle for the 5.9-meter new national standard electric vehicle. Compared to the traditional single motor drive layout, the electric drive axle layout is simpler, with higher system advancement and integration, and lower costs. Additionally, the higher integration also allows for sufficient space for battery layout, enabling the battery to be configured with multiple power platforms, thus improving the vehicle's range. The successful rollout of the 5.9-meter new national standard electric vehicle marks the increasing maturity of the company's R&D capabilities and brings new development opportunities for Yashang New Energy Company in the domestic market for pure electric light buses under 6 meters.

The 7.5-meter right-hand drive electric vehicle from Asia Business New Energy Company has successfully rolled off the production line in Singapore.
2022-04-28
Recently, the Asia Business New Energy Company successfully rolled off the production line four units of 7.5-meter right-hand drive electric vehicles for Singapore, which are about to be delivered to the customer. It is reported that the order for the right-hand drive vehicles in Singapore was placed at the end of last year. The battery, high-voltage distribution cabinet, slow charging machine, and other key components were all specified by the customer, making it a reverse matching order. This means that the entire vehicle's battery, front cabin frame support, high-voltage wiring harness, battery cooling, etc., needed to be redesigned. The tight delivery schedule and technical challenges posed a significant challenge for the automotive research institute. After continuous efforts from the technical staff, all relevant technical documents and purchase requests for the vehicles were issued by the end of December 2021. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, some components only arrived recently. To catch up with the delivery schedule, the assembly workshop arranged for employees to work overtime during the Qingming Festival, producing this batch of orders continuously. Since the three-electric configuration of the right-hand drive electric vehicle was a new state, the vehicle needed to undergo the first round of debugging after rolling off the production line to ensure that the vehicle operated, charged, and all functions worked properly. During the first round of debugging, the technical engineers found that the vehicle could not charge, so they immediately communicated with the workshop debugging personnel to identify the cause of the problem. After a night of disassembly and inspection, electrical engineer Tang Jie and electrician team leader Lao Ding finally discovered the issue—the internal program of the supplier's high-voltage distribution cabinet was incompatible with the vehicle. The supplier was unable to resolve the issue on-site due to pandemic lockdowns, so the engineers actively communicated with the supplier and resolved the charging issue under remote guidance, ensuring the vehicle's delivery. The successful roll-off of the 7.5-meter right-hand drive electric vehicle has expanded the company's sales spectrum and laid a solid foundation for the development of the overseas right-hand drive vehicle market.
Asia Business New Energy Company conducts EU certification tests for electric drive axle prototypes.
2022-03-30
Recently, the first prototype of the German electric drive axle from Asia Business New Energy Company successfully rolled off the production line and entered the certification testing phase. The Automotive Research Institute is working diligently on the prototype certification tests to ensure the smooth delivery of this batch of orders. Currently, the trend in automotive technology development is the evolution of distributed structures of auto parts towards a centralized structure. In response, the company is keeping pace with market trends and has developed the electric drive axle for large vans. Compared to traditional front-rear or mid-rear drive electric vehicles, the electric drive axle eliminates the drive shaft, adds a reducer, and provides ample space for battery layout while using a smaller power motor to reduce costs and lighten the overall vehicle weight. The large van electric drive axle removes the rear axle differential and main reducer, installing the motor and reducer onto the vehicle body, connecting the reducer and motor, with power output to the wheels via a constant-speed drive shaft. This design reduces unsprung mass without increasing sprung mass, enhancing vehicle comfort and handling stability. Due to the tight schedule and heavy tasks of the order project, along with it being a brand new product, this poses a significant challenge for the Automotive Research Institute. To successfully secure the order, all employees of the Automotive Research Institute worked overtime, effectively doubling their efforts, and ultimately completed the product design successfully. After the first electric drive axle prototype was completed, it was sent to Chongqing for EU certification testing to obtain qualifications for entering the European market. To ensure timely completion of the tests, two engineers from the Automotive Research Institute traveled to Chongqing for testing support despite the severe pandemic situation, and the vehicle successfully completed tests for EMC electromagnetic compatibility, ABS performance, LDWS performance, and more. "We take responsibility and ensure thorough execution," said the entire team at Asia Business New Energy Company, united in purpose, shouldering heavy responsibilities, and committed to supporting the certification tests of the electric drive axle prototype, striving to create first-class high-quality products.

With the long-term in-depth cooperation between both parties, the demands of U.S. customers have become increasingly diverse. In addition to the 7.5-meter electric complete vehicles and 7.5-meter electric chassis vehicles, customers have proposed a new product demand for the 7-meter box-type electric logistics vehicle. The 7-meter box-type electric logistics vehicle presents a brand new challenge for the company. Due to the new state and new configuration, the vehicle has encountered new assembly issues after going online, including the sealing issues of the fully enclosed white body, electrophoretic tooling issues, tire issues arising after production, and glass sealing issues. Particularly, the tire disassembly issue was significant because the rims are made of aluminum, and using existing equipment for assembly could scratch the rims, severely affecting the appearance. Upon discovering the problem, the relevant departments immediately held a special meeting to discuss solutions. After discussions among the process and related departments, it was finally decided to add protective devices and corresponding tooling. After repeated verification, the results were satisfactory after the installation of the devices. After resolving the tire assembly issue, the production line also found that the tire balance data varied too greatly. After discussions and research, heavy balance weights were added to ensure the balance data, ultimately resolving the issue. Asia Business New Energy Company adheres to the core values of its corporate culture—"Customer satisfaction is our purpose," perfectly solving the assembly issues and earning high recognition from customers. The first 7-meter box-type electric logistics vehicle has finally successfully rolled off the production line this month.
